during June we learned that BIS Greydove @ Kan Trace's daughter
Kan Trace Atlantis "Tisa" has recently won 2 x Best in Show awards (one show 3000 dogs)
Congratulations to Ivan & Kan Trace
It makes us very proud that the dogs we export not only win for their owners but PRODUCE some amazing Weimaraners themselves.

I (Narelle) am back on deck and will get the website updated in time...
What a fantastic 2 weeks away I had and what a shame to come home to such dreadful Sydney weather!
Our beautiful litter of Lagotto babies all went to their new homes this weekend and we look forward to photos from their new owners...we are especially keen to see more of Greydove Angelina Jolie who we retain in co-ownership for our future breeding program & Greydove Jazmine (Margaret Giles) ... watch for them in the showrings!
Miss Monet (Ghostwind Work of Art) had her first show this weekend and thankfully she did walk on the lead, as we have had such a big break from the ring we were concerned ! Well done Sam 
I have made a page about our holiday and you can see a few photos there USA 2008.

Ginger "Greydove at Flanders Joy" won CAC-CACIB-BOS and the title Hopkoningin 2008 (hopqueen) !

Val and I had a great weekend in Hobart. Very social weekend as well - great dinner party at Sue and Ian's after the show.
Our purpose for the visit to Hobart was twofold
1: to choose our puppy, Monet, which we did, with a lot of help from the dinner party guests!!
2. To conclude our purchase of Castro - there are some of his admirers who call him Fidel. Castro will come to live with Val when she returns from Europe at the end of July. Watch for him in the show ring - he is a stunner!!
Congratulations to our boy on his State Bred in Show win yesterday under Mrs S Lane NSW.
Our darling Jett has returned to the home of his birth where he will be specialed and obtain his US title. He of course will remain in co-ownership. He has settled in well with Daryle as we knew he would and we will catch up with him in a few weeks time when we are in Honolulu.
Sam headed down to shows with Fabio at Albion Park well done on a Best of Breed & RU Best of Breed.

A sad day at Greydove
It is with absolute shock that today we have heard of the sad loss in England of our beloved 'Chip',
Am & Aust Ch Nani N Greydove Milenium Bug Imp USA
Chip was loved and cared for in the past years by Sandra Rowbury who made a superhuman effort to try to save him.
Chip has had a wonderful life with Sandra - living in the orchard during the days and having his amorous flings with the girls. His legacy of course will live on - as it does with the special wonderful dogs. Chip produced not only beautiful looking puppies but he passed on his fantastic temperament to them as well.
There are just not enough words to express what we are feeling - just the thought of his beautiful head is enough to fill our eyes with tears - the magnificen head which was passed on to his progeny.
At least no more pain - only bitchs for him to chase around to his heart's content in the heaven that we are all going to. He is now reunited with Harmony, Rosie and Sascha and they will share many wonderful memories.
Until we meet again..........................

We had made an enquiry for a litter in the US which was due in March.
We were very pleased to hear that it was a large litter with lots
of boys ... we will be visiting this litter when we are in the USA as we are intending to import a male to Greydove

Kan Trace Greydove Gabriella Imp Croatia has returned from being bred to CH Budoar Nuutti Imp Finland.
Nuutti is the sire of our Fabio who is a super little lagotto so we anticipate a stunning litter.
This litter will not be confirmed until sometime in March.

Sam is a very welcome addition to Greydove and is proving this with the successes in the ring and her rapport with the dogs.
