14 December 2008 Sorry we have been a bit quiet of late, winding down to Christmas time... We are expecting Scarlett's pups on Thursday if not before so we are very excited about this litter and hopefully one which will give us a little girl to start and continue that line from Sascha. We picked up Scarlett from Canberra last weekend and went to a show down there, Castro picked up Best of Breed, Scarlett has settled in perfectly at Clarissa Place. This weekend we just headed up to Castle Hill where Cas won Dog CC both days he is getting close to 250 points now and we have only had him since July! Bronte has been out and about with us practicing before her big debut in January but the way she is going she win be a pro by then...check out her new pictures taken today at Castle Hill at her page. News from Croatia that Ivan's bitch Kan Trace Atlantis [pictured below], daughter of our Greydove At Kan Trace has following in her mother's footsteps, she has been a multi BIS winner throughout the year and was announced CROATIA TOP DOG 2008, Congratulations Ivan. 23 November 2008 Both Nani & Charlie's litters went to their new homes this weekend... We took Bronte out for her first day out and she was a hit, but its a big day for such a little girl. We also introduce Greydove Brandy Coral, Barry & Glenda Stevenson's new baby from Charlie's litter, keeping it all in the family Barry & Glenda also own Coral's grandmother CH Greydove Goodtime Girl. We are looking forward to her show debut at Christmas. We were thrilled to get back Cas hipscore results today 1:1=2 AVA A/0 21 September 2008 We felt the first summer winds this weekend as the temperature was up around 27-31 degrees! Hunter Kennel Club held their shows we went along on Friday & Saturday Castro took Best of Breed on Saturday Fabio took Best of Breed both days Monet won her class both days. We also had Cas DNA profiled and we have now sent off our breeding stock Lagotti testing to Finland for Juvenile Epilepsy. We think we are probably the first Australian Lagotti breeders to send of the tests which have just become available. We have decided to let Monet go to a new forever home locally in Sydney as we would like to breed from her in the future. She doesn't like showing and we don't wish to push it. You can read about it at our current litters page. Contact Val if you are interested. 13 September 2008 Thanks to everyone who contacted us about 'Varma' the young Weimaraner we had up for re-homing. After only one week and alot of calls Varma went to his new forever home in Canberra last weekend on Fathers Day. You can read up about this story... one we truely hope we don't have to encounter again on a new page we have written for the site called 'Rescue & Re-housing' ... we do however take our hats off to our wonderful friends Barry & Glenda Stevenson who cared for Varma after coming out of the RSPCA, as Barry is an experienced Obedience and Temperament testing trainer he was in the best hands and assessed perfectly for his new home. Thank you Barry & Glenda. Interesting performance news from Noella and Ch Greydove Donatella FDX...Kiss has now obtained her Agility Title and a new one to come by us a Gamblers Dog Title!!!! This makes Kiss...Aust.Ch. Greydove Donatella AD, JD, FM. We are sure Kiss is the most titled Lagotto in Australia truely proving the breed's versatility. Well done Noella & Kiss, so can Jolie keep up???? We shall see.... 7 September 2008 Happy Fathers Day ! We headed up to Hillsborough for what was going to be a a weekend of shows, true to past experience the Hunter came down in buckets on Friday night ... Ghostwind Smokin Gun - Best of Breed and shortlisted for Group Tartufo Fabrizio - Best of Breed We were glad to leave early and headed back to our motel BUT at around midnight the sounds of what I thought were Kansas in a hurricane came through and we were most concerned how our 'camp' would survive....unfortunately it did not and nor did many other peoples....the wind had lifted most cabanas and there was debris everywhere...we lost our cabana and all our gear was soaking so we decided that was about enough and just went home. Good luck to those who decided to show in those conditions - sometimes I think the show just shouldn't go on....

Tartufo Fabrizio wins Minor Puppy in Show under Max Winch ! 5 May 2008 Val and I had a great weekend in Hobart. Very social weekend as well - great dinner party at Sue and Ian's after the show. Our purpose for the visit to Hobart was twofold 1: to choose our puppy, Monet, which we did, with a lot of help from the dinner party guests!! 2. To conclude our purchase of Castro - there are some of his admirers who call him Fidel. Castro will come to live with Val when she returns from Europe at the end of July. Watch for him in the show ring - he is a stunner!! Congratulations to our boy on his State Bred in Show win yesterday under Mrs S Lane NSW. Our darling Jett has returned to the home of his birth where he will be specialed and obtain his US title. He of course will remain in co-ownership. He has settled in well with Daryle as we knew he would and we will catch up with him in a few weeks time when we are in Honolulu. Chip has had a wonderful life with Sandra - living in the orchard during the days and having his amorous flings with the girls. His legacy of course will live on - as it does with the special wonderful dogs. Chip produced not only beautiful looking puppies but he passed on his fantastic temperament to them as well. There are just not enough words to express what we are feeling - just the thought of his beautiful head is enough to fill our eyes with tears - the magnificen head which was passed on to his progeny. At least no more pain - only bitchs for him to chase around to his heart's content in the heaven that we are all going to. He is now reunited with Harmony, Rosie and Sascha and they will share many wonderful memories.
