We would like to wish all our friends a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year 5 December 2011 We haven't had alot to report of late! As Summer continues to heat up (well on some days) we have cut our showing down This weekend will be our last show until some time in late January This week we head to Wellington, New Zealand to choose our puppies from Oxy & Lava's litter and we expect them to arrive in the next couple of weeks. We then have Tyler arriving from Canada in about 10 days. Cole will be leaving for England on 4 January 2012, we will miss him he is a great puppy, he finished his time in the baby class winning Best Baby Puppy in Group on the weekend under Mr K Nicholls. We have a lovely litter expected in January. We are yet to confirm this but are looking forward to it. Val and I saw Cesar Millan recently and had such a great night out...definately a must do if you get the opportunity. and so....another year winds down... Weimaraner day at the Sydney Royal is Saturday 23 April & the Weimaraner Club of NSW Specialty Show at Erskine Park is on Good Friday. We encourage anyone interested in our breed to visit these events. We have now decided on the sire for Margeaux's first litter and look forward to that litter mid year 2011. Our youngster "Charlotte" Ghostwind Know It All had a wonderful show year finishing as NSW # 1 Weimaraner Rising Star, quite an accomplishment given the amount of puppies who compete in this competition in Sydney and surrounds. Charlotte probably would have finished her championship by now had we not been showing both our girls!!! As would have Margeaux !!! In the performance circles the multi-talented "Cooper" Aust Ch Greydove Lord Oth Rings (with too many titles to list) gained the following titles this year Utility Dog Obedience - UD, Dances with Dogs Freestyle - Novice (DWDF.N), Heelwork to Music - Starters - (HTM.S), Heelwork to Music - Novice. - (HTM.N) Cooper was also awarded the Weimaraner Club of NSW Versatile Dog of the Year for the 4th time, quite an accomplishment! We are now looking forward to our first Lagotto litter for nearly 2 years!
