Aust Ch Clayco Just It

Just 2 weeks short of her 11th birthday, Sascha passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday 16th December.

The daughter of 2 exceptional parents in Nikko (Aust Grand Ch Talfryn Spring Madness A.I.) and Nikki, (Aust Grand Ch Grauhund Nikkitah A.I.) she excelled in the show ring and easily obtained her Australian title. She then went on to produce some exceptional sons – Silver . (Dual Ch. Int Ch. Greydove Desert Storm NSD, NRD, CDX, CGC.) who lives in South Africa, Buddy – Greydove Hot Summer Nite – in Sweden, Winston, (Ch Greydove Russian Roulette AI) and Cooper (Aust Ch Greydove Lord O The Rings) – an exceptional obedience dog. A wonderful legacy to the Weimaraner world.

Sascha has been a wonderful companion dog during her eleven years. It was very sad to see her over the last 12 months deteriorate so much and to lose her sight. Nevertheless, though totally blind, she managed to find her way around the family room, down the stairs to the garden to drink out of the swimming pool and still to do the “feed me dance” at 7.00am and 5.00pm. She never missed a beat there.

She is sadly missed from her favourite spot on the lounge but we know that she is in very good company with her friends, Rosie and Harmony, across the Rainbow Bridge. We can only be grateful for the 11 years of companionship that we had with her and she will always have her place in our hearts.

Sascha is a multi in group winner and a class winner at Melbourne Royal; the Eukanuba Classic; the Eukanuba Spring Fair; the Weimaraner Club of NSW Easter Championship Show (Ruth Ann Freer USA.) and Reserve Challenge bitch at the Spring Fair 1998. All these shows were under International judges. As a producer, Sascha has excelled in producing some amazing males.
Sascha was an incredible producer of males. Her first litter to CH Bromhund All Class AI produced Dual Ch. Int Ch. Greydove Desert Storm NSD, NRD, CDX, CGC. The only bitch from this litter, Greydove Dream Come True had been exported to America for us to breed later on but tragically died in a car accident.

Sascha was bred to Am/Aust Ch Nani N Greydove Milenium Bug Imp USA to produce, Greydove Hot Summer Nite, exported to Sweden. "Buddy" has produced a beautiful bitch in Sweden bearing all the markings of a top versatile dog for Pasquinel's Kennel. As stud dogs are sparingly used in Sweden Buddy is only selectively used, in 2008 by Mimmtrix kennel to produce a pup for Nobiskrug in South America, taking our lines to a new continent. 

Sascha has also produced Australian Champion Greydove Lord Oth Rings CDX ET another exceptionally versatile dog, sire by CH Divani Apache Rebel AI. This was a litter of all boys.

For her last litter Sascha was bred by AI to semen from Am Ch Valmar's Sage v Wustenwind producing Champion Greydove Russian Roulette AI and Greydove Rhapsody in Blue AI "Scarlett". Once again the only girl.
